MODEL MARS INVITED TO NEXUS IN NAIROBI
On February 1, 2023, Jen Breslin and Rakhi Rajani presented a summary of the Model Mars project to virtual and in-person attendees at the Nexus event in Nairobi, hosted by Astronaut Mae Jemison’s 100 Year Starship organization.

MODEL MARS PLENARY ADDRESS AT MARS SOCIETY CONVENTION
Model Mars co-founder Jan Millsapps addressed the annual Mars Society Convention on 21 October at Arizona State University in Tempe, Arizona.

Jan Millsapps addressed an in-person audience of approximately 100, plus over 400 virtual attendees.

MODEL MARS FEATURED AT KOREA EVENT

Model Mars co-founders Jen Breslin and Jen Blank recently presented at the UNOOSA and Republic of Korea Space for Women Expert Meeting. The project was showcased within the education track as an example of how the space narrative can be opened up to wider audiences, how more girls can be brought into the space sector, the important role of women experts and advisors, and how learning about space and space applications can advance the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
